The train moves along at about 45 mph, which is a great
speed for taking photographs. As it rumbles into the
foothills of the Sierra Madres, one is struck by the sudden
presence of water.
The scenery has been enjoyable up until now, but as one
looks ahead at the mountain range lying in front of the
train there is a growing sense that the best is yet to come,
a perception which slowly becomes a certainty.
