As the train approaches Cuauhtemoc, one begins to realize the fun is just beginning.

By now, regretfully, the engineer was blowing the train whistle and the conductors saying, "Vamanos!"

 

 

A modern Mexican city, Cuauhtemoc is really the entrance to the Sierra Madres and the last city of any size you will find until you get to the end of the line at Los Mochis.
