First Class Train to Ciudad Chihuhua, Mexico

The 6 a.m. departure time meant rising at 4:30 in the lovely Hotel Catilina and staring at the ice cold water pouring down from the shower.  Stare at it is all I did, I should add, being unable to summon the fortitude to even stick my head in to wash my hair.  I did manage to shave and sponge bath and arrive at the train station by 5:15 a.m.  All my research had indicated the best scenery would be during the daylight hours on the west/east train, and I began to feel the same sense of excitement I had felt when I boarded the train in Chihuahua.

I was eager to see the difference between the second class train I had taken to Los Mochis and the first class train I was now boarding.
