Stay in Los Mochis, Mexico - Page 2
By the time I had eaten a delicous taco dinner at a restaurant across the street, it was almost 4 p.m. The taco dinner set me back a whopping $8, but the portions were so generous that I asked for "para llavar" (to go), and the takeout portion was enough for dinner that night and breakfast the following morning.
What little of Los Mochis I saw was a tranquil place. There was a nice little park, very little traffic on the streets, and the weather (daytime weather, that is) was sunny and fairly warm.
It was near this beautiful cathedral than I found a taxi driver to take me to the beach, and therein lies a tale.
